Become a coach because coaches are irreplaceable. We can replace every other job, but the coach is the intermediary between decisions and players. A computer cannot be that intermediary. The people who make the decisions have the biggest moat.

People are going to have to pay taxes. They will have to talk to each other to maintain social interaction, keep track of things, learn new things, and seek guidance.

You want to be in the business of dealing with people. You want people to listen to your voice.

Do not think one year down the line or two years down the line. Think twenty or thirty years from now.

There will be a place for people who point out the obvious in the short term. People do not know what you know and do not see what you see. But to guarantee that you are not left out, become a coach or a player, because they have to be human.

We watch football because the players are human. They are doing things on the field that I cannot do, but it is not that I could not do them in another life. I was not born or trained to do what they can do. That is why we watch them.

If they were not human, it could be entertaining, but it would not be as remarkable.

You can relate to football because of the people. They make hard decisions because they have emotions and feelings. They come from a place you come from. They are living and breathing.

I had that realization a few months ago, and it has shifted my goals drastically. The way I approach working around football has changed. I do not want to report on what is happening; I want to have an opinion. I want to be a decision maker.

If you are not using technology to improve your knowledge, you are a fool, but the human voice is going to become more valuable than intelligence.

No one can think the way you think. Become a decision maker.
