Community Guidelines
Tactics Journal Community is free, and the founder, Kyle Boas, reads every application personally. Anyone with an account can apply. We aim to answer within 48 hours, though that is a target and not a promise of approval.
These rules cover every part of the community.
What belongs here
Use Home for tactical questions, match discussion, analysis, and work that members should be able to find later. Use Off-Topic for casual conversation about football, life, and everything else.
- Original tactical analysis. Your observations, your frameworks, your evidence.
- Honest questions and discussion. Ask about what you do not understand, and challenge ideas with reasoning.
- Constructive feedback. Disagree with the argument, not the person.
What does not belong
- Non-public club material. Keep confidential tactical documents, scouting reports, internal video, and match preparation off the site, along with anything else a club or organization owns. Bring your professional judgment here. Leave their files where they are.
- Harassment, abuse, or personal attacks. Never go after another member’s identity, credentials, or character.
- Impersonation. Do not use another person’s name, likeness, or credentials as your own.
- Content that is illegal, hateful, or deliberately misleading.
Public and private content
Your profile and the contributions we approve can be seen by anyone. Never post private account details, application answers, or someone else’s personal information. We may suspend accounts that do.
Accepting the current version
We update these rules from time to time. To keep your access, you accept the current version, and we will ask you to read and accept a new one when we update this page.
Moderation
Reports go to a moderation queue. Actions we may take:
- Hide content that breaks these rules.
- Suspend accounts that break them. Suspension removes all Community access, including the ability to read content.
If we got a moderation decision wrong, email .
Your content
By posting in Community, you grant Tactics Journal a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute your content within the site. You retain ownership of everything you write. You can delete your own posts and messages at any time. We take deleted content out of public view, though we may keep a copy in our moderation logs.
Account deletion
To request deletion of your account and associated data, email from the address on your account. We will delete your profile, uploaded images, and personal data, and strip your name from your posts and messages.
