Gareth Southgate is playing James #10 Maddison as a left-winger but says this about Phil Foden:

“He plays wide right and drifted, with Haaland and Julian Alvarez as No 9 and No 10. […] He definitely picked the ball up in those areas a lot but his start position was wide.”
