I can’t think of a 6 in a successful team who carried like Declan Rice. It’s his bread and butter. Perhaps a contributing factor to West Ham’s improved performance this season is Edson Álvarez playing simple not carrying, allowing Paquetá and Ward-Prowse to focus on the attack.
