A four-category framework for diagnosing football error in coaching review

Football errors often look obvious but stem from different underlying causes. A four-category framework helps coaches separate execution, choice, spacing and body-orientation problems when reviewing the same broken sequence.
The framework comes from Avaliação do Erro no Futebol, an article by Bruno Loureiro published by Universidade do Futebol. It is best understood as a coaching-analysis piece rather than a data study. Its aim is practical: make post-match review and training feedback more precise by distinguishing different kinds of error that can produce the same visible outcome.
